When it comes to reaching women, one Maryland woman is in a class all by herself. Mrs. Ann Brickley from North Carolina is the proud new owner of Peculiar Ladies Dress Shop. The store is located in Largo, Maryland and inside the shop is a woman who has decided to enter the retail world with a mission. Thanks to Mrs. Brickley, women have an option to look classy and stylish. She came up with the idea of opening the shop after traveling to Jerusalem in April 2006. She toured various locations in the Holy Land and was spiritually led to give women an option to buy clothes that are respectful and beautiful. Mrs. Brickley came up with the name “peculiar” because she wanted women to stand out from everyday styles and appearance. Her goal is to show women that beauty, class and sophistication come with the right style of clothing. So with obedience, faith and a desire to do God’s will, she returned to the states and followed her spirit.
